Pantomime Panto: The Ugly Duckling

The Ugly Duckling

Welcome to Rainbow Park, Sunny Village in Playlandia

Mr and Mrs Greengrass run a bird sanctuary and gift and tea shop. They have two daughters - Greta, the naughty one, and Gracy who is quiet and likes playing by herself and dreaming. Tommy the tailor is in love with Greta who is happy to play along. The villain of the piece is Prince Loxy Fox and he is assisted by Goosey Goblin who lives under the bridge over the river which runs through the nature reserve.Trying to look after all the people in Playlandia is silly old PC Pincher. They all get completely mixed up when a strange duck-like bird comes to Gracy for help.

Filled with new songs and music this show takes the cast through the story until they all end up in new situations having learned from their mistakes.

A tale of redemption and baddies getting their just deserts, this is full of surprises and fun for all ages.

The same company of actors who brought you - Robin Hood and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

A spoonful of Musical Theatre is a children’s presentation at the finish of their weeklong half-term drama workshops with PROPS Theatre School.

Props Theatre School is the education and training unit of PropsAnvil and is for children and adults alike.

As well as a great way of making friends, enhancing skills and developing confidence we offer opportunities to improve performance skills, gain Nationally Accredited Qualifications to Level 5, ready for a career in the theatre and the creative and performing arts.
